Virtual Reality (VR) technology is changing how we can experience and interact with the world today. Although it’s often thought of as a gaming tool, VR provides opportunities for seeing places and sights, even for those who have limitations due to time, physical abilities, or financial means.
In our very busy world, it’s easy to let distractions stop us from journaling, even if we have heard how helpful it can be. Whether using an app, computer, or notebook, the practice can bring powerful effects.
If you are a grandparent, the time you spend reading might benefit you, your grandchild, and those busy parents that can conquer their to-do lists without guilt, knowing that everyone is happy and well. If you are a busy caregiver, reading can alleviate your stress and increase the well-being of your children, parents, or other loved ones.
Educational benefits from my employers prompted me to get back to it, but once I finished, the feeling of accomplishment was indescribable and I look back and wonder why I waited so long. Although the semester has begun, it’s never too late to start reaching a goal, many courses are now in non-traditional formats, such as with accelerated courses, and may be offered during the summer.
